The wreck lies in navigation trim and
is in good condition , the deckhouse is at stern and two holds with a large entrance toward prow, one hold was devasted by explosion of the mine and a great hole of aout 3 mt. of diameter is in the left side. Toward prow we can see one of two ship cranes with his wharp. |

- 1892 Launched in Raylton Dixon & Co. Ldt ship yard of Middlesbrourgh in Graet
Britain with the name of "Tyne Meadows".
- 1927 Sended to owner Arnaldo Cobebò of Livorno and registered with the registration mark " GE 1425" and the name "Marea" to maritime compartment of
Genova.
- 1931 gave up tothe owner Luigi Licchena of Catania and registered to maritime compartment of Catania.
- 1933 gave up to owner Santo Comis that renamed it in "Concordia".
- 1936 gave up to owner Placido Lizio.
- 12 September 1943 sunk to Formia by Deutchland, then picked up and sold to a new owner Licciardello & C. di
Catania.
- 10 October 1945 hits against a mine off Tino Island and disappears in the depths forever......
- 2004 some member of O.D.T.T. identified after long and exhausting research diving for the first time on the wreck. |
